1.IfÂ the refractor is beingÂ usedÂ for theÂ firstÂ timeÂ orÂ has not beenÂ usedÂ forÂ a monthÂ orÂ more,
Â calibrate it to 0 with distilled water.
2.Calculation Formula: Brix=sugar / (water + sugar) Eg.Â Add 20 grams of
sugar into 100 grams of water,so brix in this case is 20/(100+20) = 16.6%
