Belgian Beer Corks, 44mm x 25.5mm - 30-Count

Beer bottle corks are made of natural cork and specifically designed to fit Belgian-style beer bottles and to preserve flavor and carbonation. This 'micro-agglomerated' cork is composed of small, uniformly-sized cork granules to produce a perfectly consistent cork. Before the granules are molded into their final shape, they are cleaned with supercritical CO2 to remove harmful chemicals that can affect flavor. Because the corks are designed for a tight fit, a Champagne corker is required to insert them into bottles. After being inserted, the straight cork will take on the classic 'mushroom' appearance found on Belgian-style corked beer bottles. A hooded wire is also required to to keep the cork in place (available and sold separately).
