Bella the elephant is hot and bored when a letter arrives from her friend Lily Duck in Saratoga Springs, New York. "Dearest Bella," it says, "Everything is nice and green here, but I'm blue without you! Why don't you come for a visit?"
Bella's boredom is quickly forgotten as the two friends share an adventure in fun-filled Saratoga. From Congress Park to SPAC and from Saratoga Lake to Broadway, they enjoy their best summer ever--capped off with Bella's wild ride on Mayzie the Thoroughbred at the Saratoga Race Course.
