Belzona 1812 Ceramic Carbide FP. 2kg one Kit. Two-component Base 1.639kg + Solidifier 0.361kg = 2kg. A 2-part epoxy-based composite material combining extremely hard closely packed abrasion resistant ceramic aggregates in a polymeric binder for the repair and protection of equipment damaged by fine particle abrasion.
The application should ideally occur from 41 °F to 86 °F (5 °C to 30 °C). Volume Capacity: 29.62 in³/kg (485.4 cm³/kg). Mixing Ratio (Base: Solidifier) by Weight: 4.5:1; by Volume: 4.0:1. Mixed Density: 2.06 g/cm³. Base Color: Grey, Solidifier Color: Red. Touch-Dry Time: At 70 °F (22 °C) 4½ hours; At 50 °F (10 °C) 8 hours. Slump Resistance: Nil at 0.5 in. (12.7 mm).
Developed for situations involving fine particle erosion such as cement manufacture. Protects pipes, bends, elbows, valves from abrasion. Bonds tiles and wear plates needing high abrasion resistance. Repairs screw conveyors, centrifuges, pump impellers damaged by erosion. Lines worn hoppers, chutes, mixer blades, abrasion-prone equipment.
