Big Bear Country: Complete Trilogy
When bears and wolves collide, the results can be downright dangerous.
Part One: Bear Claws Megan-Bar fights are like bread and butter to a local doctor. I’m used to sutures and ice packs. Lately though, things have taken a turn for the worse. The Lamberts and the Skinners are out for blood and nobody will say exactly why. I’ve always liked the Lamberts. Especially Grady. He might be the best looking man in town, but he’s also the quietest. I just wish he would explain to me what’s going on.
Grady-There’s nothing worse than a private war. When the war is between shifter clans it gets even worse. And bloodier. The Skinners don’t seem to care about the humans caught in the crossfire. I don’t feel the same way at all. Doc Megan isn’t a dummy. She can see there’s something else going on. I’m just worried about what will happen when she realizes that the patients in her clinic aren’t exactly human.
Part Two: Bear Necessities Orrin-I’m done letting the local wolf clan prey upon Lambert stock on Lambert property. We’ve been fighting this petty little range war for months now and it’s going nowhere fast. If only our local sheriff was just a little bit tougher, something might actually happen. Unfortunately for the population of Cat’s Eye, Sheriff Bliss Wilkerson is more eye candy than law maker.
Bliss- I’ve about had it with the idiots saying I’m not tough enough to take on the Skinners. Maybe if the Lamberts would stop starting trouble and then running back to their ranch I could make some actual progress. Orrin Lambert might be the best looking man in the area, but I’m not exactly sure he’s got what it takes to come down off that mountain of his and stand with the rest of us. Besides, there’s something different about those Lamberts, something I can’t put my finger on.
Part Three: Bearing Witness Emmaline-There are no easy answers in my world. I’ve been brought up by a pack of wolves. Literally. My family is nothing but a bunch of quarrelsome, grasping, rabid wolves. Even worse, I’m expected to marry into the wolf clan like everyone else. I don’t want that. I want more. And somehow, more has started to look an awful lot like Zach Lambert.
Zach- I’m tired of this stupid feud. It’s like the first rule of kindergarten. Play nice and get along. But just when I thought I was the only one who felt like that, I met Emmaline. I can’t help but think that Emmaline is the only one who sees the importance of healing Cat’s Eye instead of ripping it apart. The only thing left is to figure out just how a bear and a wolf might fall in love and find happily ever after when we’ve been raised to hate each other.
