Dasher Deals Billet Aluminum Latch Pivot for First Gen Tacoma Tundra Rear Quarter Window (Pair)
These units are our NEW DESIGN! They are cut to the same dimensions as the original part, including thickness. Fits: 95.5-2004 Toyota Tacoma XtraCab 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra Access Cab One order fixes BOTH windows!! If you have a first gen Taco or Tundra with busted rear window latches, this is for you! I personally developed this replacement solid billet aluminum pivot. It replaces the well known plastic Toyota part that breaks easily. Why replace the entire hinge for $25+ EACH only to have them break again? You can get a pair of these for MUCH less and fix them PERMANENTLY! MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! If you dont like them, send it back for a full refund! NOTES: YOU MUST USE LUBRICANT DURING INSTALL!! Lithium grease or WD-40 works fine! These are designed for a snug fit to prevent rattling, however the pins may prove to be TOO TIGHT in some situations. If you find the pins too be too tight, simply drill the holes on the pivot out slightly. We recommend starting with a #19 drill bit, and moving to a #18 if necessary. You may also find the window does not close as tightly as before. This is generally due to the mount arm being bent slightly during pin removal. It is soft metal, and can be easily bent by hand. If your window is loose, just give that arm a couple of tugs towards the inside of the truck, and the window should then close tightly! BE CAREFUL!! If you still find an improper fit. Let me know the details! These work for 99% of people perfectly, and I am trying my best to find the reason why a few customers have issues. We will gladly take constructive criticism on getting these improved, and satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back!! Required tools: Channel locks, or similar pliers Phillips screwdriver Hammer Approx. 5/32" drift punch (similar size old drill bit or allen wrench will work) Lubricant is recommended You can review the instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80KBuGY9Qs4
