Smart Shock has unique blue algae-fighting crystals that kill unsightly algae. There is no need to mis or pre-dissolve, just add directly to your pool water. This product has also been proven to improve filter efficiency. Start swimming in as little as 15 minutes after application. With your swimming pool pump running, broadcast 1# of BioGuard Smart Shock per 12,000 gallons of swimming pool water, directly into the swimming pool around the edges. 2. Brush any undissolved product off from the swimming pool surfaces. 3. Wait at least 15 minutes after product application before entering swimming pool. 4. Operate swimming pool pump and filter continuously for 48 hours after product application. 5. For best results, apply product weekly as part of your maintenance routine.
