BioLite BaseCamp is a complete off-grid cooking and energy solution for groups, powered by wood. Using only fallen branches or small pieces of firewood, you can make wood-fired meals and charge your devices all at the same time. It's a smart alternative to fossil-fueled stoves, creating an elevated cooking fire that burns smarter than any campfire you're used to. BaseCamp is excellent for camping, backyard or power outages. What is really special about this portable camping grill is BioLite's patented core technology which captures waste heat from the fire through a heat probe attached to the orange powerpack. This heat is converted into usable electricity via a thermoelectric generator. This powers a fan sending surplus electricity to a USB charging port. Finally, the internal fan forces air back into the burn chamber, dramatically improving combustion and creating a cleaner, more efficient burn. The Pizza Stone, sold separately, is a three-piece system designed exclusively for the BaseCamp Stove. It cooks up pizzas, flatbreads, and other favorites. An integrated thermometer monitors your temperatures while the food safe ceramic stone keeps foods crisp and evenly cooked. A modular system, you can use the dome separately as a traditional lid for concentrated heat and faster cook times. The durable Carrying Case, also sold separately, makes it easy to transport the award-winning BaseCamp with extra room for other must-have items.
