The ETA hand2mind (77883) Biodegradability Kit includes containers and materials for hands-on experience studying, observing, and recording biodegradability and sustainability of various materials, and is designed for classroom use for grade 5-9 (age 10-15). Clear containers allow students to observe and record changes of various materials, adjustable vents vary the amount of moisture and air allowed in the container, and cages are designed to allow students to use their own samples. The kit includes 6 containers, T-sections of copper, aluminum, tin, and cardboard, hot and cold water-soluble plastics, rapid-degrading film, clip frames, and open and closed frames.
