User Guide: Some general instructions that will help using our Banneton.
First time use:
Gently sweep inside of the basket with a clean soft brush or with hands to remove loose particles of wood pulp or dust
Mist your banneton with water. Dust it with flour and tip out the excess. It helps easy release of your dough without sticking to the banneton before baking
Day-to-day use:
Dust your banneton with enough flour to fill all nooks and crannies between the cane spirals. It will maintain thin layer of flour to help prevent your dough from sticking the banneton
Prepare the dough as per your recipe and place the dough upside down in your proofing basket
Use a light kitchen towel or cloth to cover the banneton while your dough is proofing. Turn over your banneton gently onto a baking tray once the dough has risen and fermented
After Use:
Gently shake out any loose flour and allow the basket some time to dry. Once dried. Store your banneton in well ventilated area.
