Digitally remastered edition of this 1986 album by the Rock vocalist. Something of a departure from the harder rocking approach of 1984's BAD ATTITUDE, and certainly a long way from the fusion of rock operatic that is the 40 plus million selling BAT OUT OF HELL, BLIND BEFORE I STOP was originally released in September '86. Whereas previous long players had been a showcase for Jim Steinman's skills as a songwriter, one obvious reason for the switch to a more European direction that fully embraced' 80s production values was the role of producer Frank Farian, famed for his work with Boney M and later Milli Vanilli, among others. The album features the singles 'Blind Before I Stop', 'Special Girl' and 'Rock 'n' Roll Mercenaries'; the latter a duet with respected rock vocalist John Parr.
