June Tucker, an acrobatic dancer from St Louis, finds her way onto the world stage of wrestling in 1950's. Millions of men and women flocked to arenas in this Golden Age. June gets entangled in a love triangle with other wrestlers - a Grudge Match results. The fans boo and hiss, throwing chairs and pop corn at June on stage when she "takes a fall" or loses.
Off stage she navigates love affairs with women and men wrestlers until she finds her true love.
June's rapid rise causes two wrestlers to conspire her murder.
KPLR TV later televised Wrestling at the Chase to thousands of loyal fans in the Midwest. There is a twist at the end.
