Boeing submitted the prototype for the B-29 long-range heavy bomber to the American Army in 1939, before the U.S. entered WWII. It had many new features, including guns that could be fired by remote control. Primarily used in the Pacific region during WWII. The B-29 dropped the world's first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan and then the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki. Model packed in blister.
