- The heating element's effectiveness is improved with the use of 3M's unique and patented Thinsulate insulation, keeping the heat against the battery, where you want it
- The cord is installed into the blanket with a brass grommet, to avoid tearing of the insulation over time
- Really easy to install,... just wrap your battery and use the (included) ties to hold it in place!
- This heater is oil and acid resistant and is flame retardant
- Features a molded rubber cord and heater sheathing (not cheap harder plastic, like some competitors) that will stay more flexible in frigid temperatures (no cracking)
