- Exerciser Device: As you exhale through the device, the steel ball creates resistance to airflow, which exercises the exhalation muscles and strengthens the lungs.
- 3 Different Sizes of Balls: Larger balls have greater exhalation resistance and better workout results. When the exhalation exercise becomes easier, you can change to a larger ball.
- During exhalation, the ball rolls up and down in the cone, causing an interruption in expiratory flow and generating an expiratory pressure in the range of 18 to 35 cmH20. The air in the airway also oscillates, which shears the secretions in the airway and reduces their viscoelasticity.
