Violet Pettit is an oddity in her hometown of Ottawa - she would rather spend her time studying the stars and planets than gossiping and flirting with boys. It seems that no one in her social set thinks she's a good candidate for marriage, and for that matter, she wouldn't have any of them!
Richard Murray is the last of the Murray clan left unmarried. Each sibling was matched up by Miss Hazel, and they think Richard should contact her too. After all, they're very happy in their marriages, and they want the same for their brother. He hasn't given marriage much thought, but with this pressure - er, encouragement - from his family, he decides to give it a try.
Richard and Violet are two very different sorts of people who don't have much in common. Will opposites really attract, and has Miss Hazel's magic worked yet again?
