Brite Site 3rd Axis Leveler | Pro Sight Leveler
*Note: The mounting block included with your 3rd Axis Leveler is supplied with two 10-24 x 3/8" screws and is pre-drilled to match industry standard spacing found on all bow risers. Longer screws may be required for your application. Hunting sights will mount directly to the mounting block. Dove tail, target sights require mounting sight bar receiver (not included), or Brite Site's Universal Mounting Plate (sold separately) to attach your sight to the mounting block.
3rd axis compensation is the process of making sure the scope is perpendicular to the Earth for uphill and downhill shooting.
This is essential no matter the style of archery you shoot. Even if you shoot 90 meters on flat terrain, once your bow arm is raised above level, you are shooting uphill.
You will always have a 'sweet spot' that you shoot down the middle. If your 3rd axis is off, as the distance you shoot increases, the further off center your arrow will go. As you decrease the distance from the 'sweet spot', the arrow will start to drift off center the other way. This can mean the difference of making or missing the kill shot or being in or out of the 'X' ring at any distance.
Archery is hard enough without having to compensate for equipment that is out of adjustment. Properly adjusting your 3rd access will help you shoot more consistently.
Now with your 3rd axis set properly, all that's left is to put 'em down the middle. Good shooting!
