The "Claw" or "Wing" is designed to push against the inside of your pants leveraging the handle of the firearm closer into your body. This provides for maximum conceal-ability when carrying your firearm. In testing we also found that the Claw helps stabilize the firearm as well as providing the same benefit anywhere on the belt. *Claw is fully removable for canted carry. The holsters design includes rivet fasteners under the claw so the holster is fully functional with or without the claw.
