1. Place the sharpening stone in water for 5-10 minutes. 2. Use the #1000 grit side before for Fine Grinding. For about 15 minutes, apply little force and push the knife out and gently retract. 3. Now, use the #3000 grit side for polishing. Repeat the same action but with very little force. Follow this for 10 minutes. 4. Use a soft brush to clean the Sharpening Whetstone and a wet cloth to wipe the knife. 5. Leave them both in open to dry naturally.
