Burley Hitch Alt Adapter, M10.5 x 1.0
- This adapter spaces out the Steel Hitch allowing bike frames with hooded/tight rear dropouts to have hitch clearance
- This adapter is also used in breezer-style dropout applications for proper hitch installation
- Select the version that matches the diameter and thread pattern of your rear axle
- If unsure, please consult an authorized Burley dealer to ensure you choose the proper configuration for your bicycle
The Burley Hitch Alt Adapter enables use of the standard hitch on bicycle frames whose dropouts prevent normal installation of the hitch. The Adapter replaces your non-drive (left) side axle nut and allows the hitch to be installed without interfering with the dropout. Burley offers the Alt Adapter in several configurations; check with your authorized Burley dealer to ensure that you choose the proper configuration for your bicycle.
