The Cam Caddie Scorpion Lockout Kit creates a solid platform for heavier cameras and configurations. The Lock-Out Kit will eliminate the dampening effect that is designed into the Scorpion & Scorpion Ex. This is achieved by connecting the cameras built in Flash Shoe with the bottom side of the Scorpion handle. This eliminates the dampening action allowing you to attach multiple heavy accessories for an endless variety of configurations. Mount accessories, such as: Lights, Microphones, Monitors, Lavaliere Receivers, XLR Input Boxes Etcâ€¦ When used in conjunction with the Scorpion Cheese Plate the system doubles as a DSLR Cage allowing the operator to instantly switch from handheld shooting to tripod.
