- PTPS SERIES: Caplugs PTPS Series Safeplast Safe-Sleeves are black covers designed for burst containment of hydraulic fluid escaping a hose rupture or a pin hole leak, allowing the fluid to dissipate safely and thereby minimizing harm to employees and equipment.
- SUPERIOR SAFETY: Approved by MSHA for use in the mining industry, the PTPS Series reduces physical abrasion and lasts longer, providing superior burst and containment safeguards tested to 400 bar (5,800 PSI). They also offer UV protection for hoses.
- STRONG NYLON MATERIAL: These sleeves are manufactured with a catch-cord and constructed from a durable, flexible woven textile material that exhibits flame retardancy, exceeding performance levels to ISO 8030 and self-extinguishing in less than 30 seconds.
- WIDE SIZE RANGE: The PTPS Series is available in a wide range of sizes, with measurements listed by inner diameter and length. The appropriate sleeve size should be 1.5 to 2x the outer diameter of the hose and target 20% extra in length and secure ends to the hose, so that the sleeve has enough room to expand to properly contain fluid.
