Castelli constructed the Entrata from its very own Prosecco Fabric. This material has three features which make it ideal for a jersey suited to every rider - controlled stretch, breathability, and soft comfort. First, the controlled stretch not only helps the jersey keep its shape ride after ride, it also creates a supportive fit which helps to dampen the effects of road vibration and oscillation which make the muscles tingle and lead to fatigue. This property also allowed Castelli to design a jersey that fits perfectly while you are in riding position. Second, the Prosecco features a very lightweight construction which feels almost airy on the skin. The patented Prosecco treatment is a topical, hydrophillic coating the spreads moisture out over a larger surface area for rapid evaporation. This keeps you cooler and drier for the duration of your ride. The subtle, textured weave of the jersey also assists with keeping sweat away from your skin. The Entrata jersey has been cut with a multiple panel design that gives you full range of motion while riding. The sleeves, for example are a combination of a set-in front portion with a raglan piece that caps the shoulders and wraps around the back. This cut allows you to freely grasp the handlebars without the jersey riding up and bunching in the back. In addition, Castelli used a microfiber mesh on the sleeves, rather than narrow elastic, to keep them in place. The jersey is cut slightly longer in the back and the three back pockets hold all your riding essentials.
