We start with the best locally made chocolate. We do not add preservatives to our chocolates, so you taste fresh pure chocolate. Much of the factory produced chocolate being sold today contains paraffin wax to keep a shiny finish on the surface of the chocolate. Our Shoppe does not add paraffin because it adds a waxy taste to the chocolate. Our shoppe is small, so we have good quality control. Each piece of chocolate is made by hand, one piece at a time.
We could automate our process with machinery and not have as many employees, but we prefer to employ people who care about the product they are creating rather than use machines with no feelings. We provide you with fresh made chocolate full of heart and soul, made in the USA by Americans that care about pleasing you.
(No-Melt Guarantee) If the order destination is warm, we automatically pack your chocolates in an insulated box with a reusable ice gel-pack. There is no additional charge for the No-Melt packaging.
We developed our own caramel recipe over the years. Each caramel is handmade and therefore varies in size and weight. Our Nostalgic White Box holds one pound of caramels and there are at least 32 caramels per box. We thermal-seal in the freshness. The caramels will stay fresh for 4 months in any sealed container. Each box contains 4 quarter pound plastic bags filled with fresh caramels. If you order more than one pound, you will receive multiple one pound boxes.
Just the right amount of salt. We want you to know that we place more salt on the caramel than needed because we know that some crystals will fall off during shipping. If you prefer less salt, just roll some of the crystals off of the caramel. We use salt crystals from the Mediterranean Sea.
