Over the years a number of CDs have been issued of compilations of snippets from the large number of 'Concerts In Miniature' radio shows broadcast by Stan Kenton And His Orchestra. Here we have the ninth of a series which attempts to cover all of these shows, complete in the original form of their presentation. On volume nine we feature four broadcasts, firstly the NBC Concert In Miniature Show 21 from Allen County War MemorialColiseum, Fort Wayne IN, of the 21st of October 1952, second the NBC Concert In Miniature show from the Civic Auditorium, Grand Rapids MI, on the 28th of October 1952, The third show on the 4th of November 1952 consists of a short studio talk by by Stan Kenton prior to studio recordings being played, which we have omitted as they were not part of the subsequent live shows. Lastly is the bands live performance from Kentner Auditorium, Decatur IL, on the 11th of November 1952. This series is bound to be popular with lovers of Stan Kenton's music who will for the first time hear all these live shows as they were originally broadcast.
