The Cooper-Atkins 50207-K Type K thermocouple 3.75" chisel tip needle probe measures temperature from -100 to +500 degrees F (-73 to 260 degrees C) and has a 1mm tip for reduced impact. It has a response time of 1 second in liquid for fast readings. The probe connects directly to the measuring instrument (sold separately) for one-handed operation. This probe is for monitoring temperatures of small and semi-solid food products. Not recommended for use in highly acidic or alkaline products such as citrus and tomato products.
