The Coral Box N50 ATO is an affordable solution for maintaining your aquarium's water level. It works using a high quality magnetic float switch, which activates the included low pump when the water level drops, and shuts it off when the float reaches your desired water level. ATOs are vital pieces of equipment for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. If you travel often the allows you to maintain your aquariums salinity and water level on the go. This keeps your tank more stable and prevents HOB skimmers and filters from drawing in air due to a low water level. These work on aquariums large and small, and the included pump has a maximum head height of 6 feet. The pump has a compact footprint of 1.5" x 1.5" x 1" tall, and the kit includes about 5 feet of tubing. The Bracket has an L shaped footprint of 3" tall x 3" on the long sides, with a width of 1.25", so it will fit in compact AIO tanks and small sumps, as well as in aquarium displays. Every bracket is secured using a fully submersible magnet that works on glass or acrylic up to 1/2" thick. Note: These do not have a siphon break installed. You must ensure that A: The ATO reservoir is BELOW your output , and B: your output tube is NOT submerged in the tank. A manual RODI style float (1/2" tube) is recommended for additional siphon and overflow protection. Note: Please test the float switch before installation. These have been tested by us and shown to work before shipping, however the floats are fragile and can be damaged in shipment. If your float switch does not work properly, please contact us for a replacement.
