This release from Dutton presents two albums by the legendary Floyd Cramer on one CD. Cramer is known as an architect of the ''Nashville Sound,'' which blended country and pop, but his influence also extended to traditional country and rock and roll. He was a sideman on recordings by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline and many others. Not just a top Nashville sideman, Cramer enjoyed a prolific career as a solo artist as well. Cramer cut 50 instrumental albums and reached Number Two on the pop charts in 1960 and he won a Grammy for Best Country Instrumental in 1979.
