Crankbrothers has upped the ante for 2017 with their new Double Shot 3 - a trail-ready hybrid mountain pedal intended for more aggressive riding styles. On one side you have the ability to ride clipped-in while the other side provides a flat, platform option. The Double Shot 3 is exceptionally strong and durably made featuring an A380 aluminum body, stainless steel wings and springs, plus a forged chromoly steel spindle. When you need to ride clipped in you'll enjoy the renowned ease of clipping in/out that crankbrothers is famous for while its open design is superb at clearing mud. The platform side sports eight adjustable traction pins and a textured finish for grip while both side offer diamond plate pads for added traction. In even the most extreme conditions the Double Shot pedals remain super-smooth thanks to their premium quality bearings. Crankbrothers has partnered with the world's best bearing suppliers, including Igus and Enduro, and developed a double seal system to prevent water and debris from entering the pedal.
