In the Deep South, where violence and racism is a way of life, terror grips the tiny community of Lusaoka Mississippi. Deep in the heart of the Homochitto National Forest, people and animals are disappearing without rhyme or reason. In the oppressive heat of summer, someone or something is stalking the woods, searching for another victim. Racial tensions are running high as a heartless killer creeps into homes in the dead of night, carrying away the unsuspecting, and leaving behind strange clues and little else. Amid the tensions of a town at its boiling point, a lowly deputy, a student, and a preacher unravel a mystery that will change them forever.
‘Creepers’ delves into a part of the country desperate with poverty, and where many people are still fighting the Civil War. The residents of this community soon find they have more to fear than the color of someone’s skin, or old hatreds never forgotten. They soon find that true evil is indiscriminate, and true terror knows no boundaries.
