In the conclusion of Crushed, things pick up right after Jazmin, Cassie, and Tanya have had their worlds crushed by their “crushes.â€
Tanya seemed hopeful about her and Ike but the things he says, and his actions often leave her befuddled. He’s just too hard to figure out, and right when she’s about to give him a permanent spot on the No-Good Men list, he comes to her with a request that she considers granting. It isn’t the most orthodox approach at love, but it’s better than nothing. Yet, there’s always someone around that wants to rain on her parade and give her reason to question her security and esteem. If she’s happy, what should it matter? But is she happy though?
Cassie is ready to accept that her and Eli’s happily ever after will never be. She no longer presses him about what she wants the most, and their relationship very well may have run its course; that is until tragedy strikes. There may be hope after all; however, there are other forces at play. Cassie must outsmart her opponent and show them she’s not going out so easily. But will Eli still be there to help her pick up the pieces?
A weekend. That’s all it took. One weekend and Jazmin may have made the worst mistake of her life. Did her anger and bullheadedness cause her to push Jah away for good? Now that the tables are turned, and she’s on the receiving end of Jah’s rage, Jazmin must come up with a solution to piece her life back together. And that solution could be staring her in the face: Jayda.
Stress is at an unbelievable high, and everyone is going through it. Will Jazmin, Cassie, and Tanya be able to hold it together, put up a fight, and provide one another with the support they desperately need? The pressure they each withstand cause them to test the strength of their own friendship, but it’ll take some shocking news to rock everyone to the core before they all come to their senses, including the men.
