This T-style wrench is not intended for threaded insert removal once installed. If you wish to remove a threaded insert, thread a nut onto a bolt, screw the bolt into the insert, wrench the nut down tightly on top of the insert, and then back the bolt-nut-insert assembly out of the wood.
