- Auto-detects moving vehicles - Dakota Alert DCPT-2500 Transmitter comes with a 50-ft direct burial cable and metal-sensing probe. It detects any moving metal that drives over the probe
- Offers wide perimeter monitoring - Lay the magnetic probe beside the driveway. It will then detect any cars pulling into your driveway lane as far as up to 10-feet
- Provides long range wireless communication - The DCPT-2500 can send alert signals to a DCR-2500 or PR-2500 receiver, even if the other unit is up to 1/2 mile away from the probe transmitter
- Never sends false alerts - The magnetic probe can only detect metallic vehicles passing over the burial cable. Strong winds or large animals won't trigger the transmitter's alarm
- Expand your alarm system - Easily pair multiple DCPT-2500 Transmitters into a single DCR-2500 Receiver. This is helpful for businesses that need to monitor large areas like lumber yards
The DCPT-2500 transmitter is an extra transmitter for the DCPA-2500 kit that can be used in other locations; for example, a second driveway, other buildings, the back yard, etc. Up to four different transmitters can be used, with different musical tunes, so that different zones can be distinguished.
