On this album, Dead by April offer up some top quality melodic Metal that bridges the gap between commercial Metalcore and melodic Death Metal, coming across as a uber-polished hybrid of Linkin Park and Soilwork, with plenty of Sonic Syndicate-esque guitar melodies and sweeping Euro metal keyboards to keep the metallers happy, but enough pomp and fluff to please the scene kids, too.
