James Hardy is all about his wife Mandy – even more than usual thanks to their recent scare. That’s why when a job comes up on a newly launched cruise ship line, he only agrees to take it if she can be part of the fun. In fact, James makes sure it’s a family affair – with his parents staying behind to take care of the baby, but everyone else going along for the trip of a lifetime. While everyone worries about Mandy and James keeping to themselves, trouble comes calling in the form of blood on the deck and a missing singer. The Hardys aren’t technically in charge, so they have to follow the rules set forth by their new employer. Their biggest problem is that they have no proof of wrongdoing and their normal investigative tactics don’t work in a contained environment. Between an investigation that seems to be going nowhere and James’ “special†surprises for Mandy, things don’t remain calm and collected for long. That’s on top of the fact that Grady’s determined to propose to Sophie – just as soon as he figures out the best way to do it and finds his lagging courage. It’s not all fun and games, though. There’s plenty of food, drinks, and frolicking – and don’t forget about the sharks – but there’s also a murderer on board (even if the Hardys can’t technically prove it). By the end of the trip, every question will be asked and answered. The only thing left in limbo is everyone’s safety. Will everyone set sail for happily ever after, or is someone going to be left behind?
