The adjustable beam focus is controlled by pulling the head for area, spot, and flood lighting - the beam distance of the flashlight is up to 500 yards!
The Tactical light is powered by a solid state white LED which will last over 100,000 hours! Be careful! Do not to look directly into the light as at a 3000 rating it is incredibly bright (about 400% higher than 9 small LED flashlights)!
