Dino-Lite USB Digital Microscope AM4815ZTL - 1.3MP, 5X - 140x Optical Magnification, Measurement, Polarized Light, EDOF, Long Working Distance (Discontinued)
Measurements can be performed in different units (inch/mil/mm/um) and types including straight lines, circles, angles, arches grids and more.
Polarization can be switched on/off or can be adjusted to offer full or half polarization for controlling glare. Long Working Distance (LWD) feature is a lens system designed to provide magnification at a longer distance compared to typical microscopes.
Discontinued - look up model# AF4915ZTL for the replacement.
SOFTWARE included offers rich features for saving, annotating, comparison, and analysis of captured images. Supports Windows (XP/Vista/7/8/10), Mac OS 10.5 and above, Android, iOS (requires WF-10 wi-fi adapter).
The new AM4815ZTL handheld digital microscope showcases a new generation digital sensor, state-of-the-art design and 5X-140X continuous zoom magnification with extended working distance (up to 14"). This new model also features: 1) Extended Depth of Field (EDOF) for imaging into holes or down vertical objects, and 2) Extended Dynamic Range (EDR) for revealing fine surface details from shiny, reflective surfaces. The EDOF capture mode is ideal for imaging surface contours of cavities, holes or objects protruding up toward the microscope. The function is activated by clicking the EDOF icon on the software. The EDOF mode then takes several images at slightly different heights, or focal planes, and digitally "stacks" them within the software to create one integrated image with depth contours in sharp focus. In similar fashion, the AM4815ZTL EDR capture mode is designed for imaging surface contours of highly reflective materials like plastics, metals and fiber optics. The EDR mode is activated by clicking the EDR icon on the software. EDR then takes several images at slightly different exposure levels, and digitally integrates them within the software. The result is one composite image with less glare and greater surface detail than standard ring polarization can achieve. The built-in polarizing feature can be metered from full polarization to zero, or anywhere in between. This offering includes Microscope, Carry Pouch, Software CD, Edge end caps, Calibration Target.
