2013 two CD release, the fourth in the series of Disco Recharge's Boris Midney special editions. In the U.S., the backlash against Disco meant his album Companion remained unreleased in the country that had adopted him and originally allowed him to realize his musical vision. Subsequently the album was only released on the French Barclay label back in 1981, making it one of the rarest and most collectible albums in the Boris Midney catalog. Companion remains true to Midney's musical roots but with an obvious early '80s influence. Disc One features the complete original album plus three bonus tracks. Disc Two collects Midney's early '80s one-off projects together. Double Discovery's 'Can He Find Another One' was co-written and produced by the legendary Jim Burgess and is included here in all it's versions. 'D-D-D-Dance' IS Midney at his most experimental whilst closing the album is the sublime 'Thanks for Loving Me' - a rare groove track of the highest caliber.
