Dixon SS17-263 Stainless Steel 303 Industrial Hydraulic Quick-Connect Fitting, Poppet Valve Plug, 1/4" Coupling x 1/4"-18 NPTF

This Dixon SS17 series stainless steel 303 industrial interchange hydraulic quick connect plug has a female NPTF threaded end, poppet-style shut-off valve, NBR gasket, and connects to an industrial interchange hydraulic quick connect coupler. The female Dryseal National Pipe Thread Taper Fine (NPTF) threads connect with male NPTF threads for a leak-tight connection or with male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for a leak-resistant connection. The poppet valve helps prevent fluid loss when the fitting is disconnected. Stainless steel 303 provides better machining characteristics than stainless steel 316, and the nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) seal provides high tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, tear, and compression set. This plug meets the dimensional requirements of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 7241-1 Series B for general purpose quick-action couplings which describes interface dimensions and basic performance requirements. It is used for hydraulic applications in industrial operations.
