Dmitri Roudnev "Original" Music for Ballet Class

Dmitri Roudnev develops his classes, his ballet class music, and his videos/dvds to reflect his experiences as a student and soloist of the Bolshoi Ballet. Roudnev loved the logical combinations and the musicality of Bolshoi classes and he brings these feelings to his lessons, to his ballet class music, and his instructional videos.

Roudnev presents uncomplicated barre exercises, based in the great Russian Method training traditions, that are easy for student and teacher to learn. Features of his work include the use of clear tempos, many small/medium jumps and exciting grande allegro combinations. This in turn helps the teacher develop students with clean technique, elongated non-bulky muscles, and high extensions. Teachers have found that the strength built in Roudnev’s approach promotes less chance for injury.
