Now at the mercy of another threat, Ten and Martha find themselves captured by another force. Yet as they suffer under the misfortune of not knowing if their fate is undecided, they find themselves joined by another individual: the Doctor... a younger one or older one. Yet which number Doctor is this who meets his Tenth self?
To add to all this, they are drawn into an intergactic crisis. The planet, Mecrellas, is in the midst of their Imitation Games, where they are using technology to open gateways between planets and then copying that planet's history. To mimic those planet's time of peace is one thing, but to mimic it during time of war is their chief desire.
Thus the politicians and delegates on Mecrellas are forcing certain classes on the planet to partake in these games. What's worse is that they are using the Earth's history as the marking point. Can the two Doctors, along with their companions, come together and save the planet from its ruthless politicians?
