As a straight holder, it may fit Speedball Broad Nibs, Mitchell Roundhand Square Nibs, Tachikawa C Nibs, Tape Broad Nibs, and Brause C Nibs. - REMOVEABLE FLANGE - Features a removable brass flange which allows it to fit many pointed pen nibs by removing the flange, slightly opening it, and inserting the desired nib. This allows the flange to fit about 90% of reasonably-sized nibs in the market. Caution: Note that this may bend the flange to fit only that nib over time, which may impact flange versatility.
- SWITCHABLE & DUAL PURPOSE - This dual-purpose calligraphy holder can hold pointed pen nibs and broad-edged or italic nibs. For broad-edged nibs, remove the brass flange and use it as a straight holder! When used as a straight holder, it can accommodate most pointed pen nibs including Speedball Broad Nibs, Mitchell Roundhand Square Nibs, Tachikawa C Nibs, Tape Broad Nibs, and Brause C Nibs.
- (IMPORTANT) QUALITY CHECKED & EASY RETURNS - Each flange is inspected and adjusted to ensure and maximize the amount of nibs the flange can hold. If a nib listed in the product description does not fit, you can return it for FREE by marking the reason as "Defective" so we can re-evaluate the flange. Note that all Penmen United holders feature a convenient return-friendly plastic pouch.

Since this is a dual-purpose calligraphy holder it can be used as a straight holder. When used as a straight holder it can use most of the nibs previously listed including Speedball Broad Nibs, Mitchell Roundhand Square Nibs, Tachikawa C Nibs, Tape Broad Nibs, and Brause C Nibs. If the nib cannot fit, you can carefully remove the brass flange then adjust it with pliers and put it back if you have the expertise, however, we HIGHLY suggest to return it instead as adjusting can compromise the holder's functions. This plastic oblique nib holder is light weight, and features a removable multi-fit brass flange and a dual function. We have rebranded to Penmen United and we were previously kown as Alpha Pens.
