MXR M222 Talkbox The M222 Talkbox is a unique pedal that employs sound effects that's part vocoder and part wah. World-famous musicians such as Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh uses the Talk Box to create distinctive effects on their classic and modern hits. The M222 is based on the original 60s Talk Box with upgraded features. Instead of using a separate amp rig, MXR built the M222 with a self-contained amplifier and speaker driver. It's easier to integrate onto your pedalboard. The intuitive VOLUME, TONE, and GAIN knobs let you shape the effect to match your taste.
Note: The pedal isn't suitable for amps with more than 100W power. You'll need a microphone with vocal installation or PA system if you're using it on studio or stage. Make sure that both your instrument amplifier and mic are grounded. If you're practicing solo at home, then there's no need for a microphone and PA as M222 provides enough volume.
