A specialty of Warsaw-born conductor Witold Rowicki was the early symphonies of Antonin Dvorak. Together with the London Symphony Orchestra, Rowicki proceeded to record all nine complete Dvorak symphonies, and you'll hear the breathtaking results here along with the Czech master's Carnival; My Country; Othello , and Husitska overtures. The symphonies: No. 1 in C Minor "The Bells of Zlonice"; No. 2 in B Flat; No. 3 in E Flat; No. 4 in D Minor; No. 5 in F; No. 6 in D; No. 7 in D Minor; No. 8 in G , and the immortal No. 9 in E Minor "From the New World."
