The slender, small profile design and BB weighted body keep the lure upright and swimming in high current, low current, and zero current environments. The HD Trout's small lip design helps the lure maintain the appropriate depth as it is worked by the angler. Applications: Designed primarily for top water fishing this slow sinking fishing lure works best when worked just below the surface. The optimal depth is 0-2 feet. Troll the lure along the top of the water from shore or from a boat and the rear treble hook will hook your target if approached from behind and the lower treble will snag the fish attacking from below.
