Our dash covers require at least the majority of the perimeter of the dash to still be intact to serve as a stable foundation for the cover, it cannot be used alone as a replacement dashboard.

While a lot of our customers are missing big pieces of their dash from deterioration over the years, these covers require at least MOST of outer edges/perimeter of the dash left in tact to mount the cover to; so if you are missing too much of your original dash to hold the cover up flush and straight, a dash cap will not work for you.
