Centering marks on the bottom press plate allows for proper tofu block placement prior to pressing. Simply place block inside marking, this allows for even pressing each and every time.
Stainless steel grommets on the EZ Tofu Press top plate allows for smooth pressing and eliminates plastic from getting into tofu. Other tofu press brands have stainless steel threads rubbing against plastic plate which can tear the plastic off their press plate during operation.
