This Eaton Weatherhead C5205X4X4 adapter fitting is suitable for joining a pipe to tube in a range of fluid transfer applications. It has 1/4" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and male 7/16-20 Joint Industry Council (JIC) threads on the other for use with 1/4" outside diameter (OD) tubes. The fitting is made of zinc-plated 12L14 carbon steel for strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion, has an operating temperature range of -65 to +400 degrees F (-53 to +204 degrees C), and meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 070102 specifications for tube fittings. This adapter fitting is suitable for use in hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems.
