This Eaton Weatherhead C5205X6X6 Flare-Twin adapter connects hydraulic hoses or fittings of different types. It is made of zinc-plated American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 12L14 carbon steel for tensile strength, hardness and resistance to corrosion. It has a male 3/8" Joint Industry Council (JIC) 37-degree flare on one end and male 3/8" National Pipe Thread (NPT) on the other end for connecting two female threaded fittings. It is 1.43" in length, with a .297" inside diameter (ID) and a 3/4" hex nut. It has a dynamic pressure rating of 4,000 pounds per square inch (psi) and a temperature range of -65 to +400 degrees F. This adapter meets specifications and standards of American Standards Association (ASA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and is suitable for use in hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems.
