In 1971, Henri Ghent curated a groundbreaking Museum Exhibition that brought the work of Contemporary African American Visual Artists to Europe for the very first time. This is the Rare Exhibition Catalogue published to accompany the revolutionary exhibit. Curated by Ghent, the First Black American to hold a leading position at an Art Museum (Brooklyn Museum). This illustrated Catalogue features eight Black Artists including Romare Beardon and Senga Nengudi (Sue Irons).
